Rocio Rutter to chair Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance Working Group

We are thrilled to announce Rocío Rutter as the new chair of the Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance Working Group 2 – Evaluation.

“Measuring embodied carbon is a system's exercise. We must understand the parts, the whole, and key areas for intervention. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, but establishing a common language and standardised process for measurement, benchmarking, and reporting is crucial. In her new position as chair, Rocio will be working with industry, government and construction materials supply chain representatives in a collaborative effort to measure, benchmark and reduce the upfront carbon emissions of our infrastructure sector.
